NAIPES

They're kind of kemonomimi who possess magical abilities that vary depending on the breed to which they belong. The use of these skills is evidenced by the symbol floating over their heads and in their hands, which creates a kind of flame when they use their powers. The flame color varies from Naipe to Naipe, however isn't a fire as such because it does not produce heat or burns, is more like the representation of their energy at the moment to use their powers.

Main Features

-Generally their personalities are linked to the nature of their powers.

-Their powers are of mystical nature, depending on the use of magic spells.

-They have their respective symbol on his head and the side of each hand, this represents the state of their powers. When the symbol is "off" it means that their skills are in passive mode and when it is "on" it means that their skills are active.

Breeds

Hearts

This breed is characterized by their dual personality, which can be nice one minute and hostile in another, this is because their powers are of opposite nature. They have the ability to Heal/Poison. Their natural opposite is the symbol of Spades and their complement is the symbol of Clovers.

 Spades

Their powers are based on the use of necromancy and curses, because of this personality they usually tends to be cold and calculating, and usually don't show mercy to anyone. Their natural opposite is the symbol of Hearts and their complement is the symbol of Diamonds.

 Diamonds

With a personality something smug but quite determined, this breed is characterized by the ability to create any type of weapon by using special spells, but due to high energy consumption involved, the number of weapons to use at same time is limited to 2. Their natural opposite is the symbol of Clovers and their complement is the symbol of Spades.

Clovers

They are the adventurous breed par excellence, dedicate enthusiastic enough to travel the world in search of excitement, fortunately for them, their curious nature is complemented by their spells, which can increase their physical abilities, being the breed most agile and strong in hand combat and also with the good luck that has transcended their symbol for generations. Their natural opposite is the symbol of Diamonds and their complement is the symbol of Hearts.

Special

Royalty

Each breed has a more powerful variant which is characterized by their symbol adorned with marks representing royalty. Besides this an added feature to their level are elegant horns which can be adorned with precious gems or gold details. Normally they are classified in ranges as King (K), Queen (Q) and the Knight (J), the latter has the ability to use their symbols as shields.

 JOKER

A unique variant whose origin is unknown so far, is characterized by the ability to become in any of the 4 existing symbols (excluding royalty), but once chosen one of them, this will be their breed's symbol and they will not be able to choose another. They can switch between their Joker form and their symbol form. They are also the only breed that has not a natural opposite, regardless of the symbol they have chosen, will pair well with everyone else.

Relations

At the moment to creating offspring, is important to consider the complementary and opposite nature of each symbol, which is why two opposing symbols will have more difficulty that two complementary symbols.

Genetic Inheritance

Type 1: Canon

Two Naipes with the same symbol will have 100% of chance to inheriting their skills to their offspring.

Type 2: Dual

Dual Complementary

Two Naipes with different symbol but complementary nature will have 35% of chance to inheriting their descendants the symbol of the father, 35% of chance to inheriting their descendants the symbol of the mother and 30% of chance to inheriting their offspring both symbols.

Dual Opposite

Two Naipes with different symbol and opposite nature will have 30% of chance to inheriting their descendants the symbol of the father, 30% of  chance to inheriting their descendants the symbol of the mother and 10% of chance to inheriting their offspring both symbols. Due to their opposite nature, the other 30% is reserved for the probability of failing to procreate.

Special

When there is one Naipe that has both symbols and one that has a single symbol, the offspring can only inherit the pure symbol. While two Naipes that have both symbols can not create offspring.

Royalty

One Naipe with royal symbol can only breed with another royal symbol, however for royal symbols, apply the same rules that for normal symbols. However, they only can have one single heir in their lives. This occurs in a 35% of probability to be a male, 17,5% of chance determines if is inherited the symbol from the father and the other 17.5% probability determines if is inherited the symbol from the mother, 35% of chance to be a female, 17.5% of chance determines if is inherited the symbol from the father and the other 17.5% of chance determines if is inherited the symbol from the mother, 20% of chance to inheriting both symbols to their offspring in case of complementary symbols and 10% of chance to inheriting both symbols to their offspring in case of opposing symbols.

JOKER

 In the case of the Joker, apply the same rules that for other breeds, but they have a higher chance to inheriting both symbols to their offspring in case of opposing symbols. This occurs in 55% of chance to inheriting one of the symbols to their offspring, 35% of chance to inheriting both symbols to their offspring and 5% of chance to inheriting their condition of Joker to their offspring.

One thing to mention is that in the case of inherited both symbols (Dual), ever the symbol of the mother will be in the right eye and the symbol of the father in the left eye.

The Joker is a special case, as they have their own symbol ("¿?"), although it isn't a symbol of breed as such, it represents the probability of choosing any of the symbols. This symbol will be inherited only if the offspring acquire condition of Joker and only can be visible with Joker form. Also, this symbol not appears in their head or in their hands.
