Story and Behavior:

Plushmaids, as their name suggest, are living mermaid plushies. They were created by a magical being who is told to have the appearance of a kid and who have a undying love for mermaids. This being is the responsible of crafting them and bring them to live with the use of magic, then, free them so they can go wherever they want to...with the use of the magic used to create them, they can give life to other plushies for a short amount of time, depending on the size of the plushy and how much time it will be "alive" it will consume more energy and will cause the Plushmaid to get tired/weak faster

There are two ways for a Plushmaid to recover their magic energy. The slower way is by sleeping, for a Plushamid to be fully "charged" with energy they must sleep at least 5 hours...the faster way is being in contact with water, either floating on it or fully submerged, it takes about 1-2 hours for a Plushmaid to recover their energy while being inside a source of water

They're usually very playful and curious about their surroundings and tend to explore the place where they are located in search for interesting stuff...They can live in almost anywhere but they prefer places near to water sources, though they prefer small water sources (like ponds or rivers) instead of large bodies of water

Plushmaids don't like fire as they are made of silk or other flammable materials, and have to be very careful as they can also being torn, however they can be easily sewed back if they experience any injury

Traits:

As they are plushies their appearance may vary a lot, this includes the type of ears, the shape of the hands, the knot of the tail and the eyes...additionally they may have details like horns, wings, more visible seams, buttons, etc

(for this species I don't want to restrict the traits as I want to have more freedom at the moment to draw them, so in this case, there's not traits rarity, only general traits...however, there can be other type of Plushmaids in the future that may be considered rare as a whole)

Special:

> Based on food or other themes (i.e. tiramisu based plushmaid, valentine's day themed plushmaid, etc)
(these can be considered as a different type of Plushmaid and will be drawn mostly in special ocassions, as mentioned previously, these can be considered rare)

Special Plushmaids often have distinctive traits to set them appart from regular Plushmaids, for example: Food-based Plushmaids have parts made of food or food decorations, Monster-based Plushmaids (like vampires or werewolves) have special abilities like energy drain for vampires and transformation for werewolves

Themes that ARE NOT allowed for MYO include: prepared food, festivities (like halloween, christmas, valentine's day, etc), mythical creatures (such as dragons, vampires, fairies, jiangshi, etc), fantasy stories (like red riding hood, beauty and the beast, etc) > please notice that the reason why these themes are not allowed for myo's is because these are supposed to be used for special occasions so they're supposed to be "special" therefor rare, however there may be occasions where I'll be offering "special MYO slots" that will allow these themes to be used. Please read the "Imitations" section below to see an alternative to special Plushmaids

Themes that ARE allowed for MYO include: fruits, animals, sub-cultures/urban tribes, genres like steampunk/cyberpunk/etc, space, time, nature (like flowers, weather, minerals, etc), palettes and patterns, anime themes (like magical girls, character stereotypes), fantasy, etc

Imitations

Imitation Plushmaids are regular Plushmaids that look like Special Plushmaids (they can be based on the special themes) but they don't have special abilities as Special Plushmaids do

So, to clarify, you can have Plushmaids that look like they're Special Plushmaids but don't possess the special abilities or genuine traits, for example, you can have a Plushmaid with fake food decorations or a Vampire-looking Plushmaid without the energy drain ability, these are acceptable

Also, I don't encourage the use of other people's ID when it comes to adoptables so I'd appreciate if you won't use copyrighted material to make your Plushmaid, parodies are okay though

Sub-Species:

Plushmaids sub-species are special kinds of Plushmaids with exclusive traits to each sub-species, they sometimes possess stronger magic than regular Plushmaids  and  they're considered to be rare

Fancy Traits:

These could be what you usually call "mutations" but in this case, seeing as Plushmaids are not an organic being but "artificial" so to speak, I decided to call these traits "Fancy traits"



> ROYAL: collar + some kind of cape/cloak, can be made of any material and cape can be of any length and have any pattern as well as shape
> HOOD: this is what you'd consider what's in between Plushmaids and Plushoods, the hood can have different shapes including animals/objects shape
> KITE: wing-like arms, can either look more like wings or like a kite
> COMET: basically a strip/ribbon + a pin/buckle/ornament + more strips/ribbons, these can be of any length and can have/end with decorative accessories
> HANDY: this one explains itself
> FISHY: bottom part of the body mimicking a fish or in some cases other animals

> RIBBON: the tip of the tail is a ribbon and they usually have other ribbon decorations, may have ribbon wings and ears. Tthey have the special ability to grant others with a "gift"...gifts are attributes that allow the target to acquire special abilities, for example strenght, speed, luck, etc...however this gift consumes the Plushmaid's energy and therefore is not unlimited, the duration of the gift depends on the Plushmaid's ability to control their energy and the importance of the gift (importance means that some gifts consumes more energy than others because they're more rare/powerful)


Usually most Plushmaids only have 1 Fancy Trait at once but in very rare occasions there can be up to two Fancy Traits in the same Plushmaid
